Tonight's Service
so tonight was pretty sweet. at Refuge this dude from Oklahoma called Camacaze(sp?) came and he was awesome. he was talking about how to glorify God is simply to enjoy what he has given you. and how you can do it through so many different things. then he rapped about how all these rappers are rapping about things like lust, drugs, and stuff and how that right there is a sin because you end up doing things that you wouldn't because you hear that its kool or something like that.
Then he was talking about how most kids wait for things like summer camp and stuff like that to fully give Him your heart and how you shouldn't do that. you need to do it today. and if there is something weighing you down or holding you back, get rid of it. i felt like one of the things in my way is this, myspace. so im shutting it down as of Friday.
also, he was telling us a story of a guy he met at an event last weekend. the guy said that he grew up in a home of REALLY religious catholics and he would see the way they treated people and it just fully turned him off from God. then he was saying about how he sees christians and how they just give themselves to God and serving him and how friendly they are and how they carry themselves and, he's jealous. you know, we really need to be more kind to others, we need to be a family of christians who want to see people who dont believe draw near to Christ. and when somebody's like "hey hows it goin?" it would be so satisfying to God if we were like "its great! God is wonderful and he's made my life fantastic!" or Dope as he would say.
God Bless,
Kelsey Michelle
